Financial Planning When a client elects SFG's financial planning services, such services result in presenting the client a written financial plan, designed according to the client's needs. The plan may represent a comprehensive analysis of the client's long-term planning needs, or it could be focused to address a specific issue about which the client requires financial planning advice (e.g., retirement planning).
We believe strongly in the value of having a sound financial plan as a fundamental piece of your fiscal fitness. We will prepare a personal financial plan or review your existing financial plan for a flat-fee basis, considering the complexity of the plan. We may also review you current situation for an hourly rate.
Investment Advisory Services For clients whose investable assets meet minimum requirements, Sowa Financial Group, Inc., (SFG) provides investment advisory services. These services are based upon client-identified objectives, as well as changes in market conditions and performance requirements. SFG offers investment advice on various securities, including stocks; corporate, municipal, and government debt (bonds); annuities; and mutual funds. Investment advisory services are provided to qualified clients on a fee basis, which is most often determined by the size of their portfolios.
Qualified client portfolios are managed by SFG's investment adviser representatives on an annual fee basis, debited quarterly, based on the dollar value of the assets under management. There are no additional transaction costs charged by SFG against the assets in a fee-based managed account. Additional transaction charges may be levied, where appropriate, by National Financial Services LLC for trading and custodial services.
Non-advisory Services offered through Commonwealth Financial Network® Transaction-Based Brokerage Services The Advisors of SFG are also Registered Representatives of Commonwealth Financial Network®. In this capacity, we offer a separate service for clients who do not meet the minimum portfolio requirements for fee-based services, or for clients who do not require the ongoing review and portfolio management services available under SFG's Investment Advisory Services agreement. SFG advisors may offer brokerage services, as representatives of Commonwealth Financial Network, an independent broker/dealer, Member FINRA/SIPC.
Financial products, including securities products, may be acquired through SFG's advisors on a commission basis. A transaction fee may be charged for the purchase or sale of stocks and bonds. A sales charge may also apply to the purchase of packaged products, such as mutual funds and variable annuities. Transaction fees on packaged products are determined by prospectus and are paid to the advisor based on a contractual arrangement between the investment company and the broker/dealer.
All fees are discussed and agreed upon at the outset to the planning relationship during your complementary consultation.
